Two Galway players have been selected in the GAA.ie Football Team of the Week, following their 10 point win over Mayo on Sunday.
Shane Walsh kicked 0-11, putting on an exhibition of two-pointers in Castlebar.
He’s selected in the half forward line with Johnny McGrath in corner back.
McGrath was a strong presence in Padraic Joyce’s defence, helping to keep Ryan O’Donoghue at bay for much of the game.
Also included is Roscommon’s Ciaráin Murtagh, who contributed 0-4 on Sunday to help the Rossies win by two away to Louth.
