The first game of 2025 for the Mayo ladies has ended in defeat at the hands of Dublin.
Liam McHale’s side lost out by three points this afternoon in Parnell Park.
At half time, the sides were level at 1-4 each, with Mayo’s total haul being courtesy of Sinead Walsh.
Despite a good first half showing for Mayo, Dublin came out of the blocks flying for the second half with Chloe Darby netting within seconds of the restart.
That goal set the tone for the second half and Dublin held on for a hard fought first round win.
