Sligo Rovers wasted no time in finding a replacement for goalkeeper Ed McGinty, who is on his way to Shamrock Rovers.
The Bit O’Red have brought in Sam Sargeant from Waterford, who will battle with Westport youngster Conor Walsh for the number 1 slot.
Sargeant started his professional career with Leyton Orient, before completing a move to Waterford in 2023.
