Former Mayo senior footballer Michael Moyles has joined Mike Solan’s Longford senior football management team for 2025.
Ballaghaderreen native Solan guided the Mayo U21s to All Ireland glory back in 2016, and most recently managed Sligo club Tourlestrane.
Moyles, who won All Ireland glory as a player with Crossmolina Deel Rovers in 2001, worked with Solan in the Tourlestrane set up after finishing up as manager of the Mayo ladies.
Enda McGahern is also part of the management team, according to the Longford Leader.
The Colmcille native guided Longford’s minors to an historic Leinster title earlier this year, and joins as selector.
Longford will operate in Division 4 of the Allianz National Football League this coming year.
