The first outing for the Mayo senior men’s football team in 2025 has been announced.
Kevin McStay’s side will host Monaghan in a charity game under lights in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
The game takes place on Saturday January 4 at 6:30pm.
Proceeds from the game will go to Mayo GAA’s charity partner – Mayo Motor Neurone Association.
This will also be a chance for players and supporters alike to experience the new rules being brought into football next year.
The game takes place on the same day as Crossmolina Deel Rovers’ All Ireland Intermediate Club Championship semi final, at 1:00pm in Longford.
Brian Benson’s Connacht champions will face Carragh of Kildare in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
