Ray Dempsey is set to return as manager of the Knockmore senior footballers.
The former Kncokmore and Mayo senior footballer will succeed John Brogan and Aidan Kilcoyne at the helm of the Saffron and Blue.
Dempsey guided his native club to back-to-back county titles during his last spell in charge.
Dempsey previously managed Knockmore between 2018 and 2022, guiding them to county titles in 2020 and 2021.
Shortly after departing Knockmore, Dempsey managed the Limerick senior footballers for a number of months before resigning in March 2023. He returned to management with Easkey, who won that year’s Sligo intermediate championship.
This season he was involved in the Parke/Keelogues/Crimlin management team.
He was ratified at a club meeting last night.
