Roscommon GAA have added two Clare men to their senior hurling management team for the 2025 season.
Patsy Fahy, of St. Joseph’s, Doora Barefield and Matty Shannon of Corofin, Co. Clare are both in line to join the setup.
Patsy Fahy has previously been involved in training Gort, Turloughmore, Doora Barefield, Corofin and Kilmaley as well as the Clare senior camoige team.
In 2022 Matty Shannon coached Éire Óg, Ennis to a first county final appearance since 1990, losing by a point to Ballyea and in 2023 he coached his home club Corofin to win the Clare Intermediate Hurling Championship and going on to reach the Munster Club Hurling Final.
Kevin Sammon’s Roscommon hurlers will be aiming for victory in this year’s Nicky Rackard Cup.
