Aghamore picked up the first prize in Mayo LGFA’s county final weekend.
The East Mayo side won their first ever county Junior A title yesterday evening.
Keith Cassidy’s side were five point winners against St. Brigid’s in Hastings Insurance McHale Park.
Goals from Aoife Lilly and Siobhan Mooney helped Aghamore to a three point lead at the break.
Mayo footballer Saoirse Delaney scored some vital points to help them over the line.
The action continues today with the shield finals, as well as the intermediate decider between Castlebar Mitchels and Louisburgh from 2:00pm.
