A special Coaching Masterclass is planned to take place in Mayo next month with a very special goalkeeper coach guest.
Eric Steele worked under Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United and also had stints with Manchester City, Derby County and the English national team.
During his playing days he enjoyed time at Peterborough United, Brighton and Watford among others.
The man who trained the liked of Edwin Van Der Sar, David De Gea and Joe Hart will be coming to Westport to run a Goalkeeper Coach Masterclass.
‘keepers, goalkeeping coaches and outfield coaches are invited to United Park in Westport and the CastleCourt Hotel for events across the weekend of October 18 and 19.
The weekend will provide a unique opportunity to learn from one of the most respected GK coaches in the game – and all levels are welcome!
The event is being organised by former Galway United goalkeeping coach Derek O’Sullivan, with the Pro Elite GK Academy in partnership with GK Nexus.
