Former Mayo senior footballer Andy Moran will be teaming up with the Monaghan senior team for the 2025 season.
The Ballaghaderreen man has been included in Gabriel Bannigan's backroom team, following a county board meeting this evening.
Bannigan has spent the past two seasons with the Monaghan team as a selector under manager Vinny Corey.
Andy Moran stepped down from his role as Leitrim senior manager after the end of their 2024 campaign. He spent three years in charge there.
It was rumoured that the former Footballer of the Year would join Kevin McStay's Mayo management team - a rumour that Moran put to bed last month in an interview with the Mayo Football Podcast.
Members of Moran's Leitrim management team throughout his tenure are also to take up new roles in '25 - fellow Ballagh man Mike Solan is to manage Longford, while Sligo native Luke Bree will join up with Mickey Harte in Offaly.
Monaghan will be in Division 2 of the Allianz Football League next season, after their decade in the top flight ended in relegation this year.
