This year’s success continues for young Ballyhaunis golfer John William Burke.
The 15 year old has won the Golf Ireland U16 Order of Merit, finishing with an impressive 833 points.
To put this result into context, it’s some 282 point ahead of second place.
His score was also 296 points ahead of last year’s winning total.
John William made local headlines earlier this week by winning the Munster U16 Boys Amateur Open Championship.
