The first rounds of the Rumley Cup and Mary Walsh Cup competitions were completed on Friday evening as the Mayo Women's League returned to action after a break.
Rumley Cup holders Manulla saw off the challenge of last year's finalists Kiltimagh Knock United 3-1, with Straide & Foxford progressing with a 2-1 win over Castlebar Town.
There were goals galore in the Mary Walsh Cup where Ballina Town lost out 4-5 to Ballinrobe Town and Killala winning by a goal against Claremorris in a seven-goal thriller, 4-3. Westport United ended Kilmore's defence of their title with a 2-0 win.
