Three Mayo AC runners made the trip for a 9am start at The Biofreeze Irish Runner 5mile race which took place in the Phoenix Park on June 23.
The 5 mile is one of two imperial distance road race events adapted from the Irish Runner Summer Series that have been given Athletics Ireland National Championship status.
Two of the three were National medal winners:
Congratulations to Pauline Moran who won the F65 category in 35:27, and Mary Browne F65 who came home second in 36:47.
Well done also to Paula Donnellan Walsh who finished 10th in the F40 category in 34:40.
In the F35 competition Mayo AC finished 8th of 20 teams in a combined time of 1:46.57.
The 5 mile race winners were Kieran Kelly Raheny Shamrock AC 24:11, 2nd Luke Johnston Moy Valley AC 24:28.
