The Mayo minors retained the Connacht title last night with a four point final win over Roscommon.
This is Mayo’s third Connacht Minor Football Championship title in a row.
It was a tight contest for most of the game, with the sides level at 0-5 each after the first half hour.
Mayo pushed on in the latter stages of the second half to secure victory.
The Crossmolina Deel Rovers contingent were to the fore in front of goal for David Heaney & Tom Reilly’s side last night.
Kobe McDonald hit 0-6, with Oisin Deane contributing 0-3.
Mayo now take on Cork in the All Ireland quarter final, while Roscommon face Munster champions Kerry.
