In a thrilling final this afternoon, they beat Mayo by a single point in Salthill.
Goalkeeper Connor Gleeson hit the winning point, with a free from outside the 45m line.
Mayo were ahead at half time, but Galway showed a strong second half overall despite an over and back battle.
Ryan O'Donoghue (0-6) and Matthew Ruane (0-3) were strong performers for Mayo in front of goal.
As for the Tribesmen, Robert Finnerty hit half of their scores with 0-8 to his name.
The Ballintubber Stores Man of the Match was named by Midwest Radio analyst Martin Carney as Damien Comer.
Padraic Joyce is now the fourth most successful manager in the Connacht Senior Football Championship, with three titles in a row.
