Mayo senior footballer Ryan O’Donoghue has been nominated for the GAA.ie Player of the Week award.
The in-form Belmullet man starred once again as Mayo beat Roscommon by five in yesteday’s Connacht semi final.
O’Donoghue hit 0-7 in total.
Also nominated is Galway’s Robert Finnerty.
The son of former Mayo footballer Anthony, Robert scored 1-5 for the Tribesmen against Sligo on Saturday.
His last minute goal saved Padraic Joyce’s side from the shock defeat of the season in Markievicz Park.
The third nomination goes to Donegal’s Daire Ó Baoill who scored 2-1 in victory over Derry in Ulster’s last eight.
