Galway fought hard in the final minutes to get something out of Kerry in today’s National League meeting, but to no avail as the Kingdom won in the end by two.
There were seven between the sides after 66 minutes before Tomo Culhane hit the net to spark life into the Tribesmen.
Despite the defeat, Roscommon also lost today to Derry which means Galway are safe in the division for 2025.
Remaining in the top flight is a good result for Galway, considering the absence of key players like Shane Walsh, Damien Comer, Matthew Tierney to name but a few.
Next up for the Tribesmen is the Connacht SFC meeting with London in Ruislip in two weeks.
