A Mayo boxer will make his pro debut next month.
Swinford native Eoghan Lavin recently turned professional and will make his debut in the iconic York Hall in London on Saturday April 20th.
Lavin who boxed out of Ballyhaunis boxing club is regarded as a huge prospect in the pro game.
The 21 year old who won nine Irish titles across the grades and age groups, has signed a multi-year deal with Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions, is backed and co-managed by Anthony Joshua's 258 management and David McGinley Sport and will be coached by Anthony Crolla.
The headline bout will be British Lightweight Champion Sam Noakes who will defending his four belts on the night.
