The Mayo senior ladies suffered defeat to Dublin in their first league game in Ballina this season.

Mayo were in a strong lead at half time with the aid of a strong breeze, 2-7 to 0-4.

Lisa Cafferky continued her good form from the Galway game with two more goals.

The Kilmovee Shamrocks sharp shooter hit 2-7 in total.

Dublin came into their own in the second half and hit back with two goals of their own.

Liam McHale’s Mayo managed just two points in the second period in response.
