New Ireland captain Peter O’Mahony has backed Jack Crowley to put in a big performance on the occasion of his first Six Nations start.
Ireland’s campaign begins against France in Marseille, with kick-off at 8pm.
Crowley is one of three Ireland players making their first start in the competition, along with Joe McCarthy and Calvin Nash.
Mayo native Caelan Doris and Connacht's Bundee Aki are both named to start while Finlay Bealham is among the replacements.
