The closing date for the position of Mayo Senior Camogie manager is tomorrow.
Mayo Camogie have warned that if they cannot appoint a new manager for their Senior Team, they will have to withdraw from the upcoming league campaign and this summer’s All-Ireland Premier Junior Camogie Championship.
Mayo Camogie has been seeking a manager for their senior side for the past number of months to no avail.
They have exhausted many avenues and are now appealing for anyone with an interest in keeping the game alive in the county, to step in and help them.
Mayo’s opening league game is on February 24th against Tyrone, just weeks away.
Rosemary Smith from the Mayo Camogie executive says they are in a dire situation at the moment.
