The second staging of the Adam Mulchrone Memorial Match in aid of ACT for Meningitis will be held in Westport tomorrow at 2pm when Sligo Rovers meet Galway United at United Park.
Both teams are busy preparing for the new League of Ireland season and they are bringing their full squads to United Park for the occasion.
Galway United are back in the Premier Division after a number of years in the lower tier and they have added significantly to their squad over the close season.
John Russell, the Sligo Rovers manager, spent the early part of his managerial career with Westport United and would have coached the late Adam Mulchrone.
All funds raised will go towards the west of Ireland based charity ACT for Meningitis. Supporters are asked to make a donation on the gate instead of an admission fee. ACT for Meningitis also has an iDonate page that can be accessed through actformeningitis.ie.
Westport United captain and goalkeeper Gary Cunningham has been giving more details about tomorrow's big game to Midwest Radio's Michael D. McAndrew.
