Connacht have preserved hope of making the last 16 in the Investec Champions Cup.
They secured the bonus point win they needed at the Sportsground last night, beating Bristol by 27 points to 3.
Shayne Bolton, Jack Aungier, Caolin Blade and Andrew Smith scored the tries, all after Bristol lock Josh Caulfield was red-carded for a stamp on Finlay Bealham’s head.
Connacht also need Lyon to win away to Saracens tonight, otherwise it’s a drop into the Challenge Cup.
Glasgow will also be playing knockout rugby in the spring, after their 29 points to 5 bonus point win at home to Toulon in Pool 3.
