Tony McEntee has named his Sligo team to take on Roscommon in tonight’s Connacht FBD League quarter final.
In the first game for the Sligo footballers of 2024, the Crossmaglen man hands out inter county senior debuts to a number of recent academy graduates.
Luke Casserly, Dylan Walsh, Canice Mulligan and Daire O’Boyle, all from last year’s All Ireland U20 finalist team, start tonight.
Oisin Flynn and Lee Deignan, who won Connacht U20 glory the previous year, are the two corner forwards.
There are returns to the county panel for players like Peter Laffey and Conan Marren who are on the bench.
Oisin McCann and Alan McLoughlin are among those also be looking to get a run out in the first game of 2024.
