Ballintubber GAA have announced Tom Mulderrig as their new senior team manager for 2024.

Tom's appointment comes following the recent departure of Damien Coleman and Cathal Hallinan from their managerial roles.

Damien Coleman and Cathal Hallinan guided Ballintubber to the quarter-finals of the 2023 Mayo Senior Football Championship, where they were defeated by Castlebar Mitchels after extra time.

Ballintubber GAA have thanked Cathal, Damien, their coaches and backroom team for their hard work, dedication and professionalism shown throughout the past year.

Tom Mulderrig is a former player and manager with Moy Davitts GAA Club. He has been heavily involved with Mayo GAA's academy in recent years and took charge of Mayo's Under-19 development squad this year.

Tom is a relative of Mick Mulderrig, who was a member of the last Mayo team to win the All-Ireland senior football title in 1951.
