Mayo defender Brendan Harrison has retired from inter-county football.
The 31-year-old Aghamore man played 67 times for the senior team over the course of nearly a decade.
A stylish and tough operator, he made his debut against Kildare in an Allianz Football League clash back in February 2014 and won an all star award in 2016.
Paying tribute to him on the Sunday Sport Show this afternoon Colm Boyle says Brendan Harrison was a real team player.
Aghamore Chairman Frank Flynn says they are extremely proud of Brendan Harrison and says it was always a privilege to watch him play.
