Castlerea St Kevin’s are Connacht Intermediate Football Champions.
Dara Bruen’s men were two point winners over Monivea – Abbey this afternoon in Tuam Stadium.
Eoghan O’Connell got things off to a great start for Castlerea with a goal inside four minutes.
They were 1-3 0-3 up at half time with scores from Adam McDermott.
Fionnan Garvey got the second half opener for Monivea – Abbey, closing the gap to two.
Glenn Kelly brought it back to one before Castlerea’s second goal through Nathan Bligh.
Kelly added further scores but they weren’t enough as Castlerea held on for victory.
