Former Mayo Ladies manager Frank Browne has been appointed as the Westmeath Ladies manager for 2024.
The announcement came this afternoon on the Westmeath LGFA Facebook page.
With experience in managing and coaching across hurling, camogie and ladies football, Frank brings a wealth of experience to the post.
He has had previous experience at LGFA intercounty level with Leitrim, Galway and Mayo.
It is understood that his backroom team will be finalized in the coming days.
His appointment was ratified at a Westmeath LGFA county board meeting last night and Westmeath say they look forward to the Lidl National League and Intermediate Championship in 2024.
Frank, a clubman of Ballyhaunis, is also a regular analyst on Midwest Radio Sport.
He has been part of our commentary teams for some big games this year including Tooreen’s All Ireland Intermediate Hurling final and Claremorris’ Connacht LGFA Junior Championship triumph.
