Alan Dunne has finished first place in the Supreme Male category of today’s Westport Sea 2 Summit.
A native of Aclare in South County Sligo, Dunne finished ahead of last year’s champion Shaun Stewart who came in second place.
This was Stewart’s third second place finish at the event, with the Donegal man also winning in 2018.
Westport native Ben Walsh finished in third spot in the same category.
North East Runners athlete Laura O’Driscoll was first Supreme lady home.
Kerry woman Ellen Vitting, last year’s winner, came in second with Boyle's Ruth Candon in third.
The title for first place in the men’s Spirit category went to local man Paul Feeney, retaining his title.
Second and third went to David Hickey and Shane McGowan respectively.
Caroline McLoughlin of Keel, Achill successfully defended her crown as winner of the women’s Spirit category.
Rhianna Heneghan came in second, while Orlaith Smith claimed third spot.
