Mayo just about got the better of Roscommon to win the Gaelic Masters Plate Final yesterday.
In a tight affair just one point separated the sides at the final whistle.
Roscommon were two points to the good with ten minutes to go, but Sean Leneghan struck over twice to make it all square.
A late Paddy Hopkins free put Mayo ahead, which was enough to seal the win.
Full time score from St Croan’s:
Mayo 1-11 Roscommon 0-13
