Oisin Mullin has been granted permission to play club championship with his native Kilmaine.
Both he and Dingle’s Mark O’Connor have been given the go ahead by their AFL club Geelong Cats, according to the Irish Examiner.
General Manager of Football Simon Lloyd told the paper: “Geelong Football Club are supportive of Mark and Oisín heading home to play for their GAA clubs and more importantly spending quality time with their family and friends in Ireland.
“With our season concluded for 2023, we wish both Mark and Oisísn the best in their upcoming games and look forward to seeing how they go with their respective clubs.”
Kilmaine lost out to Crossmolina Deel Rovers and Castlebar Mitchels B in their opening intermediate championship games so they’re out of the running to get out of the group.
However, they face Bohola Moy Davitts in a fortnight and will aim to retain their intermediate status for 2024.
