Sligo GAA have joined the hunt in looking for a new senior hurling manager for the 2024 season.
This comes following the departure of Padraig Mannion as manager after three years at the helm.
Mannion, a Galway native, took over during the Covid 19 pandemic and guided Sligo to two league promotions from Division 3B to 2B of the Allianz National Hurling League.
Sligo were relegated to 3A for the 2024 season but maintain their status in the Christy Ring Cup.
Like Sligo, Mayo and Roscommon are both also looking for new managers.
Dave McConn and Tom Phillips departed their post as Mayo joint managers while Seamus Qualter has stepped away from Roscommon having joined midway through the league campaign.
Closing date for applications to become the new Sligo manager close on Friday September 1 2023, and can be accessed on the Sligo GAA website and social media accounts.
