Mayo GAA club supporters at home and abroad will once again be able to follow all the local club championship action live on Mayo GAA TV this season with a bumper schedule of games confirmed for www.mayogaatv.com this week. In total, over twenty club games will be streamed live on Mayo GAA TV this year with action from the senior, intermediate and junior championships all set to feature. The enhanced schedule will also see games streamed live on Friday evenings with the Mayo GAA club championship commencing on the weekend of August 18th. Mayo GAA have also confirmed that the Division 1 league final between Westport and Castlebar Mitchels this coming Saturday, August 5th and the Division 2 league final on Sunday, August 6th between CLG Béal an Mhuirthead and Bohola Moy Davitts will also be streamed live on Mayo GAA TV.
“Mayo GAA TV is back bigger and better with more live games, more expert analysis and more interaction with our audience,” commented Mayo GAA PRO John Walker this week. “We are constantly trying to improve our streaming service and earlier this year we did a full review of the entire platform. The feedback we received was very positive and that was the driving force and motivation for expanding our coverage again this year. We appreciate and understand that some people cannot attend games and Mayo GAA TV is that vital link with their local clubs and community,” commented John.
Mayo GAA have confirmed that three games will be streamed live each weekend from the earlier rounds of the championship with the mouth-watering clash between Louisburgh and Kiltimagh in the Egan Jewellers Intermediate championship kicking off the schedule on Friday, August 18th from the Centre of Excellence in Bekan. The following day, August 19th Mayo GAA Connacht Gold heavy weights Knockmore and Castlebar Mitchels will feature live on Mayo GAA TV with the hugely anticipated local derby between Ballyhaunis and Aghamore rounding off the streaming schedule on Sunday, August 20th. TG4 have also confirmed to Mayo GAA that they will be broadcasting the eagerly awaited opening round tie in the Connacht Gold Mayo GAA senior football championship between Breaffy GAA and Ballina Stephenities live on Sunday, August 20th at 2:15pm.
Games from Round 2 of the Mayo GAA club championship to feature on Mayo GAA TV will include Garrymore vs The Neale on Friday, Sept 1st, Charlestown vs Claremorris on Saturday, Sept 2nd and Ballina v Mayo Gaels on Sunday on Sept 3rd. All the Mayo GAA club finals will be streamed live once again this year with the Mayo GAA Senior and Junior Hurling Finals also included on the schedule of live games.
