Straide & Foxford United progressed to the next round of the Mayo Women's Cup with a 4-1 win at home over Killala on Friday evening.

S&F dealt the visitors an early blow with Orla McHale on the end of the ball to put it in the net on just four minutes.

And they were 3-1 in front at the break, the sole reply coming via Alva Munnelly. Back to the league, and it takes a break this coming weekend with the final placings for the two divisions as it splits having been decided.

The Premier Division comprises Manulla, Castlebar Town, Swinford, Kiltimagh Knock United and Conn Rangers, with Division 1 made up of Straide & Foxford United, Ballinrobe Town, Killala, Crossmolina and Kilmore.

The Under 19 girls league will kick off on Monday, July 3, with eight teams taking part - Manulla, Swinford, Castlebar Town, Killala, Ballinrobe Town, Ballina Town, Conn Rangers and Claremorris.
