Mayo GAA U20 hurling manager Brian Finn has named his team for the opening round of the Richie McElligott All-Ireland U20 ‘B’ hurling championship this weekend.
Mayo face Armagh this Saturday at 2pm in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park in Longford.
Players from seven different clubs feature on the team with plenty of experience in each line. Castlebar Mitchell’s have five players on the starting fifteen with James Lyons, Rory Deane, Joe O’Donnell, John Kennedy and Colm Enright all set to start.
Westport have three players listed with former Mayo minor footballer Malcolm MacEvilly, Cian Mulchrone and Eoghan Ketterick all named to start. Tooreen also have three players on the team with Ryan Finn, Padraig Mooney and James Byrne getting the nod. Ballyvary, Ballina, Ballyhaunis and Caiseal Gaels have one player each on the team.
Referee on the day is James Clarke from Cavan.
