Roscommon finished in third spot in the Allianz National Football League Division One following today's win over Donegal.
The already relegated Donegal side were playing their first game of the year without manager Paddy Carr who resigned midweek.
Roscommon had a good spread of scorers on the day, with Diarmuid Murtagh (0-4), Enda Smith (0-3), Ben O'Carroll (0-3), Ciaran Murtagh (0-2) and Keith Doyle (0-2) among those on target.
The first quarter was tight, with Donegal just a point behind having taken an early lead.
Diarmuid Murtagh kicked into gear in the second quarter, scoring 0-3 to help Roscommon into a five point lead at the break.
Donegal managed just two second half points compared to Roscommon's nine, as Davy Burke's side cruised to victory.
They now await Mayo in the Connacht quarter final opener, with a weekend in lieu to prepare with Mayo out again in league final action next week.
Full time score from Dr Hyde Park:
Roscommon 0-21 Donegal 0-9.
