Mayo kept their place in the Lidl National Football League Division 1 for next season with a 13 point win over Donegal in Letterkenny, in what was a relegation shoot out.
Michael Moyles' side hit five goals in an impressive performance, and held a 16 point lead at the break.
Mayo hit two goals in the opening 20 minutes to lead by eight points, with Rachel Kearns and Sinead Walsh hitting the net.
Lisa Cafferkey goaled soon after, and finished up with 1-3 on the day.
Sinead Cafferkey and Deirdre Doherty also scored goals, as Mayo made 17 substitutes in total and made use of their panel.
Donegal managed to hit the back of the Mayo net three times in the game, with Katie Long, Niamh McLaughlin and Cody Walsh all scoring goals in a late goal rush.
A good win for Mayo to retain their status, and another win to see their fortunes turning compared to that at the start of the league campaign.
