London retain their status in division 2B of the Allianz National Hurling League after a two point win over Sligo.
A goal after nine minutes gave London the advantage, and they kept their lead for the majority of the game.
1-13 to 0-14 up at half time, they were well tested by Sligo's scoring accolades including inside forwards Andy Kilcullen, Tomás Cawley as well as Diarmuid Hannify.
In the end, London managed to hold out for a two point victory despite a second half Sligo goal.
Sligo will play division 3A hurling next year along with Mayo, as Roscommon await Armagh in the 3A final.
