Head Coach Greg McWilliams has today named a 32 player Ireland squad ahead of the TikTok Women’s Six Nations.
Eight uncapped players are included in the squad, following the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship and the recent Celtic Challenge tournament.
Connacht Rugby has two inclusions in the squad.
Nichola Fryday will captain the side from the second row.
Her provincial team mate Méabh Deely made her Test debut during the historic Summer Tour in Japan and is set to feature in her first Six Nations campaign.
Ireland’s opener in the competition will come away to Wales on Saturday March 25 at Cardiff Arms Park, and the game will be live on TG4.
