The Roscommon senior hurling panel will have a famous All-Ireland winning hurler from Kilkenny in their management set-up for 2023.

Richie Power — a winner of eight Celtic crosses and nine Leinster senior hurling titles with the Cats — will be a “Performance Coach” as part of manager Francis O’Halloran’s management team.

Tommy Guilfoyle, Tommy Maloney (from Limerick) and Cyril Crosbie will also be part of the management team but Martin ‘Thady’ Beirne won’t be involved next year.

Roscommon open their 2023 season when they play Sligo in the Connacht Hurling League at the University of Galway Connacht GAA Air Dome on Monday evening next at 7 p.m..
