A Ballina man is celebrating after winning an All-Ireland handball title at the weekend.
Jonathan Conroy won the singles All-Ireland Over-35B softball 60×30 title in Abbeylara over the weekend.
He overcame the tough challenge of Diarmuid Brennan from Tipperary in the final to win his gold medal.
Bofield Handball Club congratulated their clubman following his triumph.
Meanwhile, Cuileann Bourke of Belcarra Handball Club also won the lady’s GAA Handball All-Ireland Junior softball championship.
