FAI Cup holders St Patrick's Athletic will start the defence of the trophy at home against Waterford.

Losing finalists Bohemians will travel to Finn Harps in the only all-Premier Division tie in the first round.

There's a Cork derby in the opening round with Cobh Ramblers hosting Cork City while the Louth clubs drew teams from the midlands.

Drogheda United welcome Athlone and Dundalk will also be at home against Longford Town.

League champions Shamrock Rovers have a short trip to Bangor Celtic while Derry City host another non-league club in Oliver Bond Celtic.

The other top-flight clubs - Shelbourne are away to Bray Wanderers, Sligo Rovers have a home tie against Wexford and UCD entertain Cockhill Celtic.

Those matches will be played on the weekend of July 31st.
