Sligo swimmer Mona McSharry has been selected as part of the Ireland swimming team for August’s LEN European Championships in Rome.
Mona, who is a student at University of Tennessee, is part of an eighteen strong Ireland team for the championships, which will take place over 7 days at the Sette Colli Stadium.
The Grange woman is part of a strong team which includes fellow 2020 Olympians Ellen Walshe and Brendan Hyland.
The championships, organised by LEN (European Aquatics), will see over 1,500 athletes from over 50 nations take part will take place from the 11th to the 21st of August.
