St. Tiernan's College Crossmolina defeated St. Patrick's College Lacken Cross today in the Connacht Post Primary Schools U15 D Football Final which was played in Ardagh.
The game finished level after normal time with Crossmolina scoring 4-14 to Lacken's 7-05.
Lacken got the equaliser in the 59th minute in what was a thrilling game played in wet and blustery conditions.
St. Tiernan's powered through in extra time with Oisin Deane the stand out performer.
Crossmolina outscored Lacken 0-08 to 0-02 in extra time.
