Mayo manager James Horan has made three changes from the side that started last weekend against Kildare for Sunday's Division 1 Allianz National Football League Final against Kerry this Sunday in Croke Park.
Padraig O'Hora replaces David McBrien in the full-back line, Enda Hession starts in place of Rory Brickenden at wind-back and Conor Loftus is named to start in the half-forward line in place of Diarmuid O'Connor. Rory Byrne continues in goals with Mayo captain Stephen Coen reverting to full-back to partner Lee Keegan and O'Hora. Michael Plunkett, Oisin Mullin and Hession now make up a formidable half-back line. Jordan Flynn and Matthew Ruane remain at midfield with Aidan O'Shea now named in his more customary position at centre-forward. Loftus and Jack Carney flank O'Shea. James Carr is named to start for consecutive games at corner forward with Jason Doherty and Ryan O'Donoghue completing the full-forward line.
Cillian O'Connor is named on the bench for the first time this year with Eoghan McLaughlin and Darren McHale also listed amongst the substitutes. The match is live on TG4 with coverage from 1:30pm, with the Division 2 final between Galway and Roscommon serving as the curtain-raiser. The Mayo game has a 4:00pm start on Sunday (April 3rd) at Croke Park with Noel Mooney from Cavan down to referee the game. Extra time will be played if the sides are level after seventy minutes. Referee for this years league final is Noel Mooney from Cavan.
