There was late drama in the FAI Junior Cup round 5 yesterday afternoon.
Ballyheane and Ballinasloe town were deadlocked at 1 goal apiece after extratime and the clash went to penalties.
It seemed as though the Mayo super league champions had won the tie in sudden death.
However, Ballinasloe’s 7th penalty had to be retaken on the direction of the referee, which they scored and then went on to win the shootout.
