Roscommon’s Anthony Flaherty has been elected treasurer of the Connacht GAA Council following its convention yesterday.
The Athleague clubman will take over, on a three-year term, from Martin McCartin.
Anthony is a former Roscommon hurler and referee and has been on the Athleague hurling executive for a number of years.
He has also been a Connacht Council delegate for Roscommon GAA.
