Ballycastle GAA’s redevelopment of Tom Langan Park is well underway as the North Mayo GAA club remains on course to have state-of-the-art new facilities completed by summer 2022.
To fund this project they have started a new initiative, the Ballycastle GAA Memory Wall, which will offer all those with a connection to the club a chance to leave their mark on it.
The Memory Wall, which will consist of individual tiles each with a unique message, will take pride of place inside the newly constructed clubhouse at Tom Langan Park.
The total cost of the facility, which will incorporate two full-size dressing-rooms, a referees room, a gym, a kitchen and a meeting room, will be in the region of €300,000.
Clubman Fergal O’Connor is part of the Memory Wall committee and has been speaking to John Morley…
