A 25th goal of the season from Colm Whelan saw UCD promoted to the SSE Airtricity Premier Division last night.

They beat Waterford 2-1 in the promotion-relegation playoff at Richmond Park.

Two mayo men were part of the side Paul Doyle from Islandeady and Harvey O'Brien from Claremorris.
