Sligo Rovers have secured a place in next season’s Conference League.

Goals from Ryan de Vries, Johnny Kenny and Adam McDonnell gave the Bit-O-Red a 3-nil win away to St. Pat’s.

Derry were held to a 1-1 draw away to Finn Harps, meaning Sligo now can’t be caught in third.

The Harps point sees them move out of the relegation playoff spot on goal difference.

Waterford drop back into ninth after a 3-1 defeat at home to Shamrock Rovers.

However, Rovers are likely to face sanctions after a number of fireworks from the away end at the RSC caused the game to be suspended for ten minutes.
